What is an Affiliated Provider Program?
附属供应商计划 are offered through any one of our affiliated third-party providers (companies) that specialize in study abroad programming. 学生将获得转学学分. 课程可在 many different locations across the world 和 tend to be at least a semester in length, however many do have shorter summer options. 他们还提供 internships 和 volunteer experiences.
- 资金 - During eligible terms, you are able to use your entire 俄亥俄州 financial aid 和 scholarship package.
- NOTE: Most financial aid is NOT available for the summer. Some federal aid can be used/extended (ie. Pell Grants) 和 some 俄亥俄州 specific scholarships or stipends may be used. 你也可以申请 出国留学奖学金.
- 信贷 -你将获得转学学分. Transfer credit does not affect your GPA.
- 条款 - 项目 through affiliated providers are great for semester 和 year long options, 还有暑期项目. They may also offer a "J-Term" or "Maymester" options, but these may not align with the 俄亥俄州 academic calendar.

Why go on an Affiliated Provider Program?
There are many different reasons students choose to attend an Affiliated Provider Program, 包括:
- 更多位置选择! Affiliated providers offer thous和s of options, many in locations not available through 俄亥俄州 信贷 or Exchange programs
- Ability to study abroad with a cohort of students from across the U.S.不仅仅是newbb电子平台. This includes traveling with friends/relatives who may attend a college in another state/location.
- 项目 can offer multiple destinations to maximize 全球 travels!
- 课程种类. Participants can take a combination of courses that may fulfill different requirements on their DARS (i.e. you can take a business 和 language course together)
- Some options may be more affordable than a semester on campus.
How to go on an Affiliated Provider Program
When participating on an affiliate provider program, you will simultaneously be completing paperwork/processes for both newbb电子平台 和 your chosen provider.

*Due to delays in processing times for FASFA 2024 - 25, 第二阶段.3 cannot be completed until after April 1. We encourage students to complete as much of the other stages as possible to ensure they stay on track to complete paperwork despite this delay.

Provider timelines 和 steps will vary depending on the provider 和 program. When possible, we encourage students to make it through 阶段s 1 & 2 in the OGO学生入门网站 prior to completing the provider application.
- 提交申请. Providers may require an application fee, 个人陈述, 成绩单副本, 接受采访时, 和/or letters of recommendation or reference information. These requirements may vary program to program.
- 接受及支付按金. The program provider will review the application 和 notify students if they have been accepted to participate on the program. To confirm their spot, students will often need to pay a deposit to the company.
- It is important when making financial commitments to the vendor that you read any policies/rules that govern cancellation or withdraw - either by participant or the company.
- 准备并出发! After accepting, providers may require post-acceptance steps too! This often times includes sharing a copy of travel details/passport information, 和 may include paperwork that needs signed off by an OGO Advisor.
